Presidents Report:
Fall is here and so are Baseball playoffs , World Series Football, and Hockey. But for airline people it is start of heavy travel season. So please work safe.
At DL 142, we will be holding a Nomination Election for our local and then in December on Friday the 11, we will be holding the Election for DL 142, Officers from 6 am till 6 pm for that DL. Absentee ballots for those that live more than 25 miles from where we vote, or on vacation, or on injury need to request them from DL 142, and mail those ballots to the DL. I am proud to say that two of our members are running for office in that election.
At SWA, negotiations have started, and at UAL negotiations are getting set to continue.
We are continuing to sell raffles for our locals 1/4 raffle to be held at our December meeting.
Please remember to Vote in the coming federal and local elections on the first Tuesday in November. That being November 3, 2026.
