Presidents Report:
Well almost time for school to begin in Florida. Hopefully some of you have had time to vacation and spend time with your families.
It has been a busy season with many weather related delays and canceled flights. For IAM members at UAL, all but one contract are still open for negotiations. The Stock Clerks being only one to Vote yes.
At the end of month the FSCM will be holding its Conference in Orlando. Our UAL Work at Home Reservation members will be receiving training at IAM WWW center this month. Our Local will resume holding monthly meeting on third Tuesday in September. D.L. 142 will be holding Officer Nominations on the first Friday in September for all positions.
Please remember to purchase raffle tickets for the quarterly drawing to be held at the September meeting. Money raised for this raffle will benefit Christmas Toy Drive held by DL 166 . Last year 400 children received gifts from this Toy drive.
