To my fellow sisters and brothers, first of all I would like to thank our local for choosing me and also joining with Local Lodge President Joe Pascarella, and District. 142 General Chair Kenny Champagne, as delegates to attend the 2024 Florida State Council of Machinists conference in Tallahassee this past Feb 4th to Feb 8th representing our Local Lodge 2319.

As always it is great to have the opportunity to join other members of the IAM from all over Florida to go and lobby at our state capitol, and find political support from our State Senators and Legislators. We had lots of speakers that showed their support and gratitude. Among those we had the honor of meeting was IAM International President Bryan Bryant, and General Vice President Southern territory Craig Martin.

I strongly recommend to all our members to get involved and to keep fighting for unity and solidarity. We all should be proud of being a union member and knowing that we make a difference when we are united.
