Brothers and Sisters,

The TWU/IAM Association Negotiating Committee for Fleet met this week in Chicago, Illinois to begin preparations for negotiations with American Airlines, Inc., which are scheduled to formally begin June 2027, with early openers in April 2027.

We will meet for our next preparation session in the last week of August. During that time, we will prepare a member survey to gauge priorities and solicit input from the membership.

Once crafted and finalized, the survey will be distributed before the holidays in an effort to capture member sentiment close to scheduled negotiations while giving the committee time to properly assess survey results.

Every contract negotiation is important. This round of bargaining is no exception. We will keep our members informed as we navigate through the process. Unity is essential for success.
